The annual general meeting
of the Association of Asia Pacific Performing Arts Centres (AAPPAC) will be
held
at the Daejeon Arts Center.
Established in 1996 to promote friendly relations among performing arts
venues
in the Asia-Pacific region, AAPPAC is an international network comprising
over
80 member organisations from 20 countries, including Australia, Singapore, and
Taiwan.
Through close networking and collaboration, AAPPAC fosters mutual growth
across
the region’s performing arts sector.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Daejeon Arts Center in 2023,
the Center successfully secured the hosting rights for this prestigious
gathering.
As AAPPAC’s most important annual event, the general meeting serves as a key
platform for discussing pressing issues in the performing arts and presenting
initiatives
to enhance international exchange.

The 2025 Annual Conference of the Association of Asia Pacific Performing Arts Centres
(AAPPAC) will be hosted by the Daejeon Arts Center.
AAPPAC, established in 1996, is an international organization founded with the goal of
promoting friendly exchange and engagement between performing arts theaters in the
Asia-Pacific region. Today, the AAPPAC membership consists of more than 80 member organisations across 20 countries in the region. Through networking and collaboration, AAPPAC aims
to foster the collective growth among its members. 2023 was a momentous year for the Daejeon
Arts Center, as it celebrated its 20th anniversary by securing the hosting rights for the
2025 AAPPAC Conference. As AAPPAC’s most significant annual gathering, the conference
provides a platform for members to discuss key issues in the performing arts world and
offers a variety of programs designed to promote international exchange.

The 2025 AAPPAC General Meeting in Daejeon will be held under the theme
“From Local Inspiration to Global Influence.”
The three-day program includes thematic forums covering topics ranging from
Daejeon’s
local cultural scene to global trends in the performing arts.
Each forum will feature presentations and discussions addressing challenges and
best practices from member countries, as well as opportunities to shape a shared
vision for
the future.
In addition, the meeting will offer project presentation sessions for
international touring opportunities, cultural tours, and a variety of networking
programs.
The AAPPAC Daejeon General Meeting promises to be a meaningful opportunity to
connect with performing arts professionals across the Asia-Pacific, share
insights,
and gain new inspiration.
